Title: How to disable front seat engine cutoff?
Post by: Nemesisnight on May 18, 2015, 09:51:42 pm
Has anyone found a way to disable the engine cutoff when the seats are turned?  I would like to be able to run the engine to charge the battery if needed when in camp mode without rotating both front seats back forward first.  Anyone done this before?

I'm pretty sure it's a simple mechanical switch connecting/disconnecting  a signal line (likely to the ground).
Shouldn't be difficult at all to "permanently" overwrite it once you find this wire inside the seat base. Just measure it's resistance to the ground in both positions (straight forward and tilted) to get an idea how it needs to be overwritten.
