Did you have a code for the cps? Isn't there 2 (exhaust and intake) sensors on the 24v? Sometimes a cam sensor code can be an indication of a chain problem. Replace the sensor first and make sure the code clears then do the valve cover gasket.
I didn't realize there were two sensors for the 24V. I just asked the ECS Tuning live support what I should get.
