Like everyone my auto kind of sucks. And the manuals are all gone, new and used. I was wondering about installing a manual out of a Jetta/GTI but use the bell housing from a German TDI. The bell housing are still available and the trans should be the same. But the bolt pattern to the block is the big one. Let me know what you think.
