Want to buy something? / Fuel Door
« on: March 01, 2017, 07:30:35 am »
I am looking for a new fuel filler door for my '99.

The one I have is really rusted, and it seems to thin to fix at this point.

« on: March 02, 2016, 09:09:53 am »
After a minor incident yesterday I am now looking for a right tail light for my 2002. Does anyone have one on a spare? If you do how much? It would be shipping to 41018.

Thanks!

VR6 Engine tech / Exhaust front pipe/down pipe
« on: January 20, 2016, 09:05:59 am »
In the last few days, I have developed a really loud front exhaust leak. :o Feeling the flex portion of the front pipe just below the exhaust manifold has confirmed my suspicions. One  - possibly both of the flex portions of the front pipe are separated.  :(

Has anyone had to replace this on their van, if so were you able to find an aftermarket part? I am also wondering if anyone has a used front pipe that is in good condition? :)

So far online I have found:
 EXHAUST SYSTEM / Front pipe
Part Number: 021253091G

front pipe 2.8 LITER, 6 CYLINDER
MSRP   Core ?   Online Price
$609.00   $0.00   $460.40

Any other ideas for sourcing, and is it easy to change?

Thanks!

Interior! / Sliding door won't latch when cold
« on: January 11, 2016, 08:09:59 am »
Hi all, I have a recurring problem on both my '99 and '02 EV's. When the weather gets cold (this morning it was about 10 deg. F) It is really difficult to get the sliding door to shut. On my '99 I have discovered I can lock and unlock - then shut the door ( I repeat this process until the door catches shut.) On my '02 when I tried this I can't hear the actuator in the sliding door, and it doesn't seem to work as well.

Any thoughts on a fix for this, and why it is temperature related? (is the electric actuator simply too cold to work, and is there a way to bypass to shut the door if so?)

Thanks,

Micah

Exterior / Power Window Help
« on: June 05, 2015, 11:42:18 am »
The drivers window on my 99 MV has stopped working. The interesting thing is the drivers side controls still work the passenger window, and the mirror adjustment. I can also hear the click from the motor when I try to put the window up or down, yet nothing happens. I'm hoping it's the regulator, and not the motor. Does anyone know of an easy way to test it before buying a regulator?

If anyone has a parts van with the motor and regulator let me know!

Thanks,

Micah

I'm looking for a grey plastic interior plug. The plug covers the hole where the window crank would be (if there were no power windows).
The original part number is 701-867-164, but the part has been discontinued. Does anyone have a parts van with one I can buy?

Thanks,

Micah
