Lugboot, thanks for sharing. I think I'm going to steal this idea.  I have a question though, how did you seal the hose valve connection and the presta valve in the caps? Thanks!

I used silicon sealant around the threads for the hose valve.  That, combined with the washer/nut on the back side holds everything tight and sealed.

For the Presta valve stem, I cut the valve stem out of an old bike tube, leaving a section of rubber around the base.  I used some spray rubber adhesive but after I did it, i needed to go back and use some silicon sealant too.

If I had it to do over again with the Presta valve, I would leave about 1/2" of rubber around the base of the stem, and then just use silicon sealant and the valve stem nut to hold everything in place and seal it.

These have SOLD.

I am selling a set of the GoWesty-badged MB wheels and BF Goodrich AT KOs, with the blue aluminum spacer rings and all lug bolts. 16" wheels with 215/70 R16 tires mounted and balanced.

Asking $700, negotiable.

They were on my Eurovan GLS for about two years.  Still plenty of tread left.

Update--measured the tread depth and all tires have between 10 and 11/32s of tread.

Any interest?

Would rather not ship, but buyer will pay shipping if needed.

So, I'll bring some closure to this thread.  Based on troubleshooting while on a driving vacation (does not equal a low-stress vacation, btw), the issue was narrowed down to a heat-related electrical fault causing fuel starvation across all cylinders.  It only happened when the under-hood temps got hot enough or there was enough load on the engine for a long enough period of time.  There was never an engine overheating issue.  The coolant temps never budged from the 190 on the gauge (I know there's fudge built into the gauge, but still a valid indicator).  Not running the AC helped delay the issue, but ambient temps and engine load (like climbing a pass) were the determining factors.

So, how did I fix it?  I traded the van and our 1995 Land Cruiser on a 2014 Toyota 4Runner.  Consider this the straw that broke the camel's back when it came to dealing with this particular van.  I may purchase another one at some point, but not soon!
