I know that United Motorsports offers chip/ECU tuning for VW's and Audis. I always figured this was necessary for those VR-T setups -- but recently saw that they offer tuning for us NA (naturally aspirated) folks as well.

Improved fuel economy and more HP -- is this too good to be true?
Anybody do this? Thoughts?

Having dismantled a BDF equipped Jetta GLI -- I have both a BDF and AXF engine computer units to compare. Physically they are identical -- with just some tweaks to the programming (?) - as per the immobilizer on the Eurovan is configured differently.

Not yet - but I probably will once I get the van back together.

How many vans do you have right now? Is it just the blue one right now? Are you still doing a transmission swap?

3. The blue GLS is a temporary replacement for my weekender. And I also have an 03 with a blown transmission -- that is either going to be parted or become a test bed for an engine/trans swap.

Do a 2.0T/DSG swap! (I think Cole said the 2.0T part is possible, not sure about DSG)
Newer engine and much more tunable than the VR6.
