Sorry. I've been playing with settings on and off today. Debating allowing attachments or not.

I turned the feature back on. I can't imagine images getting too out of control. I've got 9,000 images on my phone :o

Got a text on Friday. Here is a screenshot of it. "Sully" is the name we gave this van after doing its custom build. It's an MV tintop I converted to a poptop with lots of custom bits!

When I post, I am linking to the image -- hosted on an image share website such as Flicker. This allows me to choose the picture size too - to keep it from being too large. Seems like images posted as attachments must be downloaded to be seen in a larger format -- and also requires you to login to view them at all.

Nice picture -- BTW. Looks like nice private campsite.

Projektzwo lights and bumper? You see how this adds to my suspicion that you have everything? You probably have a glovebox too, don't you? Gosh. ;)

I remember you had a full wheel arch and runner kit that you sold off -- you didn't want to install it? Was that all part of a Projektzwo body kit? What, may I ask does the back look like?

Post by: BobB on October 17, 2015, 11:47:48 am: Just got back from a couple of days at Assateague NP. One of the oceanside loops closed due to Nor'easter/Joaquin damage; might be open again by next week.

EVC ran great until CEL came on a drive home. Again, the P0304 code - Cylinder #4 misfire. Will have dealer check it again on Tuesday. At some point, will do the "replace wires and plugs" and see if that stops it. Triggered when I accelerated hard to pass car on the C&D Bridge.

Had a two week adventure planned.

Resulting in this.

AC compressor blew a seal in the Sierra foothills with outside temps of 105*. Drove over Sonora Pass and pulled into Convict Lake outside of Mammoth only to find coolant and trans fluid in a big puddle under the van. Couldn't find anyone to help in town. Thankfully I had installed a trans dipstick. Topped it up and bought a couple of extra qts for our no AC drive down to Vegas past Death Valley at 117* and a pass at 9k'. Found a repair shop that could fix all the issues, but it would take a few days for parts. Rented a POS rv for the remainder of our trip through UT. Picked up the van a week and half later to a new AC system, new thermostat housing and thermostat, and new trans cooler lines. The damn hoses supplied with trans cooler from GTA were too big. Drove off with ice cold AC only to have the car die in 30 minutes. Turns out they didn't connect an alternator wire. Now we drive home over Tioga pass.
