From what I understand, is that I'll need to adjust the torsion bars in the front, and add spacers to the back..

That pretty much covers it.

The solution is finally here!!! This unit just came out and is perfect for the Eurovan!!

I just installed this in a custom build van. (Not fully installed in the picture, just the test fit)

It's does NOT require cutting the dash bar!!!!

Woot!!! Finally.

I've been kicking around cutting into the dash bar.  Good to see that Alpine makes a unit that is so shallow you don't have to go all the way through.  It just pisses me off that they don't make a single din with the monitor dropping down.  The make one that goes up:

and one that is in the middle:

I'm curious if they are configurable.  Maybe it's possible to lengthen some wires and move the electronics around.  I'm just not willing to pay $1500 to experiment on it.

You can add these to any 12v power outlet for a nice flush look for USB charging.

I was literally just looking for replacement panels that have been missing from my bench facade for years.

If I had a choice I'd go with either of these:

3) Drawers that slide along with the frame when it's converted to a bed? (Big-as-possible drawers?...or smaller like the access panels on the later EV's?)
4) Something else?

My #4 would be the same as #1 but hinged at the bottom to make access easier.

I've lifted a bunch of them. Actually sell spacers here on this site.

Largest tire I've fit so far is a 225/70/16. (1.5" rear spacers, torsion bars adjusted)

I only see .75" spacers for sale.  Or do you simply stack two spacers?

The EV you have pictured with the spacers looks awesome BTW
