Does anyone know where to purchase this roof rack, mounts, and rear ladder???  I have had no luck finding something similar, I suppose the mounts might be custom made more than likely?

This one isn't a full paint job but looks cool with the bottom portion done in bedlinen and all the other black accents.

Discovered on craigslist.

Winnebago "Full Campers" / Re: Cracks in plastic EVC roof?
« on: June 30, 2015, 01:41:26 pm »
I'm sure they plan on selling as many as possible now that they have the mold made.  I really like the idea of this top and the extra space it provides, just wish it was a little more low profile as I think it doesn't look as good or natural as the original personally, but maybe that's just me or how it looks in pictures, i know sometimes that can be misleading.  If the shape was slimmed down a bit and shaped up a little more it would defiantly be superior to the original in every aspect and handle racks and roof loads much better due to the extra strength from the fiberglass vs plastic. I really like how it has the ability to lift it with ease without removing anything.  Maybe Cole will work with someone to come up with something sweet to sell for CaveVan someday  ;) :D.  This does seem like the best alternative for now though.

Exterior / Re: Exterior Detailing Stuff

I spray painted my vents black and it was very easy, I just taped them off (seemed like I was going to damage them trying to remove them) then used some wheel primer and black paint that I had left over from painting my wheels black and it seems to be holding up well and looks great!!

Show off your projects here! / Re: Removing the Winnebago from an EVC

Great build so far, can't wait to see what else you have in store!!! It's hard to find many people that change the interiors in EVC's and I want to get as many ideas as possible before I start doing mine.  Love the addition of the back cubbies, can you elaborate or show additional photos of what you did with the heater ductwork?  did you keep the original 2 ducts and route an additional one, (or) bypass those 2 altogether and do 1 bigger one?  Do your cubbies still have the vents in them to allow circulation for the propane heater, if not what was your solution for that?  You should sell a kit minus the wood un-assembled so I can buy one and build my own lol.  Maybe its easy to find the materials and build it, I'm good with woodwork but never have used the aluminum you have for the frame structures.

Dang! I need one of these

Wow that's looking great, some serious panel power and so streamline, those things are so thin.  I will defiantly be looking into this type of mod in the future.  I'd be interested to know around how much this project will end up costing with all the supplies.

I have been wanting to do this too so that I can use my campfire in a can off the EVC propane once it finally comes in (was a kickstarter campaign).  This seems like an easy and simple solution.

Winnebago "Full Campers" / Adding an igniter to stove??
« on: June 05, 2015, 12:35:02 pm »
I would like to add an electric or even simple push button type ignitor to light my gas stove (would make it so much easier), has anybody done this mod that could share a pic or an igniter type that has worked well for them??

Great write up and pics!!! I defiantly may be interested.  That's a great price for a full set of replacement LED's that will all match.  I remember someone recently posting a plug and play LED fluorescent for around $30 alone on the yahoo groups but it had significantly higher light output than the stock fluorescent.  Do you happen to know the lumens on each of these lights to compare and see if there is any increase in light output to be gained (althought the power savings alone is great already).  Thanks for taking the time to share.

Winnebago "Full Campers" / How to disable front seat engine cutoff?
« on: May 18, 2015, 09:51:42 pm »
Has anyone found a way to disable the engine cutoff when the seats are turned?  I would like to be able to run the engine to charge the battery if needed when in camp mode without rotating both front seats back forward first.  Anyone done this before?
