Ooh - a stick shift! Is that in the states? Or Canada? Haven't seen any of those but would love it...

I met up with itsamoto last week in Vancouver and he very kindly installed my new cubby for me. I love it! They are very cool - highly recommended.

Nope, not an error code. It works fine but just a few of the dashes in the numerals don't work. I can still figure out the temperature settings by going up and down... And the little diagrams work fine.

Actually, they know that the peg isn't in the right place, and it comes with a little extender piece that you have to be sure not to lose. Kind of silly, but it does work.

Thanks. Part of the issue with the climate control is that some of the LCD bits (don't know what they are called) are out, so the numbers are very hard to read (it's like some weird code). I suppose I could try to replace the fancy panel, but in general, I prefer knobs and dials to temperatures and buttons. Also, I hate that the default is to have the A/C on and you have to hit ECON to turn it off.

I'm wondering how to identify this part and where I might be able to get a replacement. It broke off just to the right of the top of the seatbelt, above the handle, and on the left at the top of the seatbelt piece, and so I think runs all the way down. Don't seem to be to too many Euros in junkyards... Anyone have one for parts?

Do you have any more? I would love one!
Also, I can't stand the fancy temp controls in my MV - do you think it's possible to swap them out for the lovely simple knobs you have?

I got one of those screens for the driver side and it's pretty handy. Not the same as having the windows open though and still leaves the back area unventilated.

I'm looking to replace the rear side windows with ones that open somehow. Any ideas of who makes these?
If I found something good, I'd also consider swapping out the center side windows, which open so insecurely (even when open a crack, you can open the window the rest of the way or unlock the sliding door).

Thanks!

Ooh - I'm interested! Just spent a month living out of mine and the lack of space in the dash is so annoying. Is there a way to have a door on these? And what is in that space now? Kind of curious why they didn't make a glove box there to start with if the space isn't being used for anything important...
I have a 2002 MV.
Thanks!
