Hi CV Forum,

We're proud new owners of a 2002 Eurovan Weekender and we're looking to have a general repair manual and make a few interior replacement fixes, including:

1. Replace a broken plastic mapholder/pocket on the driver-side rear-facing chair, as shown here: http://photos4.automanager.com/019736/6beecb2c721de242a9874beb9e4a4064/16ba562ccf_640.jpg

4. Eurovan-specific van cover for protection from outdoor elements (e.g. tree sap, sun, etc.)

I did find this as a potential fix-it manual option, from Bentley Publishers:

GoWesty and BusDepot do carry the curtain gliders and hooks but in aftermarket white color only.

Lastly, if anyone here can recommend a good Eurovan-specific parts dealer online, please do since we're expecting additional replacements needs every year, and many I have called on GoWesty's recommendation are more specific to non-Eurovan VWs.

The Bentley manual is a great resource for this van, I have the hard copy but I have heard good things about the CD/PDF version as well (searchable and stuff).

GoWesty is ok for parts, they focus more on Vanagons so the selection is limited. For specific parts you can also look at europarts-sd or eurocampers.com. Some parts you may have to find used, either by posting in forums or the Yahoo Eurovan group. If something has a VW part number I usually order from WorldImpex or 1stvwparts since they are cheaper than my dealer, though my dealer does have a discount for VW club members.

I'm not sure about your specific parts off the top of my head but these sites might get you started.

Hey Marc, were you ever able to locate the bench seat removable doors?  Needing a pair if you have a place I can source or happen to have picked up an extra set? Thanks!

I have a CD of the Bentley manual, but i can't get it to run (It's 12 years old).  I suppose I should be able to figure this one out, but if anyone has a clue on getting an updated version, let me know.

Here is a link to Bentley manual for EV 1992-2003.

Make sure you check tech requirements as the cd only works with WinXP or VMs of XP and then with some twists.  I bought this and was also sent a link to access manual over www in 'beta mode' but it works great on Safari and I no longer bother with booting up the old XP machine.

I don't have parts for you, but am also missing the rear seat cargo access panels.  I think I will make some, as they aren't easy to find.
