I am curious on what people have done with that black vinyl stick on material that are between the exterior windows on your van. My are starting to crease and I am curious about just removing them and leaving it off or what the process is like to put new material on. Any advice is appreciated.

i prefer mine naked and leave it off -- seeing the pillars is much more bus like in my opinion.

I don't like the stickers I will probably shoot the pillars with flat black.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170219/25611a8a1613b5cff2c6d3bd34629362.jpg).
I used a razor blade scraper, then washed the glue off with laquer thinner. I took my time and did not have a single scratch on the clear coat.

I'm planning to remove the faded vinyl from between the windows on my '02 weekender. What's the best technique to get them off without damaging the paint? I was thinking warming up with a heat gun on low, then peel by hand, follow up with "goof-off" to remove the remaining glue. Then clean with clay bar and apply Klasse sealant. Any better - or easier - process?

Using a heat gun or hair hair dryer will soften the glue, making it easy to remove. Aside from goff-off, you can use wd30 to remove the residue.

Thanks. I'll be having a go at it when the rains finally let up in a few weeks.
