Custom Painted Winnebago Full Campers.
« on: May 19, 2015, 09:42:58 am »
Unfortunately all the Winnebago full campers only came in one color, white.

They can look so cool with custom paint. Here are a few pictures I've found and saved over time. If you have a cool painted Full Camper, let's see it.

Found for sale on the Samba a while back.

This one isn't a full paint job but looks cool with the bottom portion done in bedlinen and all the other black accents.

Discovered on craigslist.

well, we are not quite that pimped out, but happy with our painted 1997 EVC (Mica Jasper green color).  Have the GoWesty Lift and Level with the BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/As, and we line-x'd the bottom and bumpers, and added some Hella driving lights

Very cool! Looks gold/tan? I saw a gold one being parted on the San Diego craigslist a few years back. Wish I had saved the picture.

A green with some underlying gold.  Looks great, especially in the sun.

This is pretty much the look I am going for with mine.  All that's left is the black bed liner treatment.  I also painted all of the white plastic camper bits black.  I will post some pics soon but the bedliner is going to have to wait till after Memorial Day.

This one isn't a full paint job but looks cool with the bottom portion done in bedlinen and all the other black accents.

I think it just needs a pinstripe or something to break it up a bit but not a bad color and from the pictures it looks like a pretty decent re spray.

That blue looks good.

Does anyone know where to purchase this roof rack, mounts, and rear ladder???  I have had no luck finding something similar, I suppose the mounts might be custom made more than likely?

I sent an inquiry to a rack company tomseemifmtheynwould be interested in working with me to developer similar racks for these vans.

I'll keep you updated.

I would defiantly be interested.  I think it would be cool to make the mounting brackets a solid piece like this syncro, so lights or road showers etc could be attached, endless possibilities.  It would also help strengthen the top quite a bit in conjunction with the rack I would imagine and maybe help prevent some bowing issues people have, and allow it to have multiple bolts to hold it in place along the entire pop top.  In a perfect world I would love to have a small space or clearance between roof and rack to slide in some thin solar panels between that space to utilize the entire rack when needed, how cool would that be.  They could even be designed to slide in/out and lock in place if you wanted to take them off or move them in the sun, etc.
