Folks, looking for advice to repair/replace the driver's side sun visor on my silver 2002 MV. It recently lost it's ability to stay fully up and I had to slide it off to get it out of the way. Evidently, it's not repairable, which seems a shame, but it's also not replaceable, at least with a new one. I'm struggling to find used ones and frankly am reluctant to invest in used if this is a relatively common problem.
Is there a way to purchase a new part directly from VW in Germany, or can members recommend a reputable supplier of used parts? This would be useful for more than just the visor; I"m finding that my local third party VW garage is increasingly unable or unwilling to find replacement parts of all types, new or used.
