Interior! / Uprated tailgate struts

Ive just refitted my fiamma bike rack but my tailgate struts cant cope with the extra weight even without a bike on !!
Ive been searching for stringer ones but am not 100% on whats  what ??
Am i correct in saying that the 770n on mine is the strength of them ? And so if i want more powerful ones i need a higher number ??
Ive found 830 ,990 and 1200 ones,im tempted to get the 1200's but dont want the tailgate to fly up when the racks not on !!
Any ideas?

Exterior / Lifting a t4 advice

Have many of you lifted your t4 suspension and if so ,is there a kit available for t4s or have you used rear coilovers and just altered the torsion bars at the front?
Mines a 2wd btw
Im considering doing it but i cant find much info over here ,id like to do it right and it would be great to hear about the affects on handling,traction ,improvements off road ,increased fuel consumption etc etc
Also tyre sizes that dont rub would be a great help too

Hi
Found this place thru tumblr ,its cool so i thought id join and come say hi !
Im dan from the uk
I drive an 2002 2.5 tdi long nose camper
Converted over here by a vw approved company called bilbos,mine is a breakaway model
Ive had it about 5 months and have a huge list of things to do 😉
I work for a porsche interior specialist so the interior will be pretty wild once i get a break from doing friends buses and get to work on my own ,lol
If anyone id interested in swapping euro parts for u.s stuff or wants to exchange bus magazines stickers etc
