I received the cubby friday. I attempted to install it today, and it doesn't completely seat at the top edge. Also, it looks like there is a smaller bracket needed for the right side, as there is nothing in place to bolt in the right side. Have you installed one? I'm curious if they don't directly fit for later models (2001-2003).

Just in case anyone here is interested, OEM-Equipped.de has a supply of rare double-din navigation decks with EV friendly specs.  They have a shallow bottom half to clear the dash support.  http://www.oem-equipped.de/6Q0035191-Radionavigation_1

Pop the side clips off the side of the fuse box and drop it down.  The connections are easy to see and make with it dropped.

If you switch to a double-din on a Weekender (non-rear a/c and non-climatronic) this in the trim piece you will need for the climate controls 7D1819075E.  It is a bit hard to find as it was only for manual climate controlled vans with factory navigation.
