So when it gets cold down here - a least two weeks of the year - my front doors (2003 MV) don't like to shut. The latch "locks up" and one must repeat door closing cycle 5-20 times to catch.
I initially went with lithium grease but think it's too thick. Now using C-656 (kinda of a marine grade WD40) but think it's too thin.
What do you guys in northern climes use on this latch?

I've tried a motorcycle chain lube and it worked fine.

I like the MC chain lube idea - and have some on hand 👍
